Senior Developer – Polar

We are looking for an experienced software developer to work in Polar’s B2B services development team. You should have experience in back-end/full stack development of web services and working with cloud service platforms. The developer’s main tasks are the design, maintenance and development of background applications and components of Polar B2B services to support global B2B business. Senior Developer

In this role as a software developer, you report to the development team’s Scrum Master, the Product Owner. While working with design work, you cooperate closely with the Lead architect of service development.

The main task for our developers is the design, maintenance and development of our background applications and components of the Polar B2B services to support global B2B business (https://www.polar.com/fi/polar-for-business). We have over 6,000 API partners with over 150,000 daily API transactions.

What we value:

  • 5+ year of experience of back-end development of web services. You’re skilled working with cloud service platforms.
  • Knowledge of various technologies and software languages such as: Maven Java, MongoDB, NoSQL, Amazon Web Services, Ansible, React, Node.js, Unix Shell, Jenkins, Git, Javascript, NPM
  • Knowledge about microservice architecture
  • You’re familiar with the AWS environment
  • Knowledge of agile software development methods and tools
  • Experience of working with cross-platform development i.e., Flutter, React Native or similar – Mobile software development (iOS or Android) is considered an advantage.
