We are now looking for an experienced

Data Analyst

to join our Data and Analytics Team in Group IT. In this new role, you will spend your time mostly by designing, building, developing and maintaining modern Power BI reports and dashboards. You will work closely together with your team, Ahlstrom-Munksjö’s external IT vendors and collaborate with business stakeholders. 

Your responsibilities include

  • Designing and implementing interactive dashboards and business intelligence reports though Power BI and other BI tools.
  • Designing and developing new business analytics reports and dashboards for management to enable Ahlstrom-Munksjö to improve forecasting and strategic planning based on business insights.
  • Developing and building operative and strategic reporting tools, formats and KPI follow-up’s in collaboration with Group business controlling unit.
  • Supporting various business improvement projects with pro-active recommendations on how their success could be measured with relevant BI reporting.
  • Providing coaching and training support for other Power BI users in the organization.

As an ideal candidate you have

  • 2+ years of experience working with Power BI (also preferably DAX and Power Query)
  • Good knowledge on SQL, excel and Azure.
  • Excellent analytical skills, numerical correctness and accuracy of calculations and ability to see the bigger picture from details.
  • Pro-active mindset with analytical problem-solving skills combined with the ability to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders across the globe.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Relevant university education / diploma (BA, M.Sc) e.g. in economics / business administration or equivalent.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English.
